Do You Have The Gall To Stay Healthy?
Forgive my play on words, but in this case it does apply.
If you are suffering from gall stones I have a natural remedy that is going to amaze you. Gallstone formation is another example of how everything works together and if something like calcium, zinc, copper or iron is missing, your whole body falls out of balance.
According to Linus Pauling, two time Nobel Prize laureate, mineral deficiencies can be traced to every known disease.
I believe in education instead of medication. Discovering what your problem is gets you that much closer to finally solving it. The secret is to find the missing link and replace it so your body can heal itself. There is no “magic pill” that can cure anything. Yet by helping your body by providing everything it needs it gets the sole credit for the healing process. Disease is not a drug deficiency.
So before you start taking medicine that only your doctor can take you off, take a minute and consider the natural alternatives with me. There are thousands of studies that prove that natural remedies work.
So What’s The Problem?
Gall stones are crystalline masses made mostly of bile salts, undigested fat and cholesterol. . . which is a protein fat combination (lipoprotein) and bilirubin which is a waste product.
Now if you are thinking that taking a cholesterol reducing drug will help you are gravely mistaken. The truth is statins actually make the problem worse and promote the formation of gall stones by increasing the amount of cholesterol secreted into your bile.
It is important that you understand how important bile salts are. Your gallbladder and the ducts that carry bile and digestive enzymes from the liver and pancreas to your small intestine are called the biliary system. When gallstones form they block the flow of bile causing inflammation in the gall bladder and sometimes in the liver and even the pancreas as well. Left untreated, the condition can be fatal.
Warning signs of a serious problem are fever, nausea and vomiting, jaundice, dark urine and persistent pain usually on the right side.
One out of 10 people in the U.S. have gallstones or will get them. More than one million new cases of gallstones are diagnosed in the U.S. every year.
The purpose of having copious amounts of healthy bile salts is to help enzymes breakdown and digest fats and fat-soluble vitamins.
Normal, healthy bile is made of equal amounts of cholesterol and bile acids. If this gets out of balance because of too much cholesterol in the bile or not enough bile to breakdown the cholesterol it is a sign that your sugar and fat processing in the liver is also out of balance, which, in turn, means your body’s metabolism is having some problems . . . now were getting somewhere.
In order to address the root cause of gall stone formation you simply need to change your diet to allow a balanced metabolism. Now keep in mind that if you have an advanced stage of disease it may be too late to choose a natural remedy . . . for instance if you have advanced liver disease, a non-functioning gall bladder or advanced gall bladder disease or any other severe health issues you should be under a physicians care.
All natural remedies work by helping an already healthy body simply rebalance itself. You can’t wait until the motor blows up and then expect a tune up to solve the problem. That’s why you have to have a positive attitude and be willing to make necessary lifestyle modifications. When you understand your problem the solution will reveal itself, but you must be ready and take action to be well.
Millions of people get their gallbladders removed every year unnecessarily . . . gall stones are no fault of your gallbladder!
There is a reason your bile is lacking the normal ability to do its job and it all has to do with what you have been eating, or not eating.
Most people have no problem digesting fats in their small intestine because their carbohydrate and fat metabolism is running smoothly. There are a few things that can cause your metabolism to get hay-wired . . . such as eating low quality fats and eating too much refined carbohydrates. Consider refined sugar to be poison. Sugar is the main cause of inflammation, fat storage and gall stone formation.
Eating carbohydrates with a low glycemic load, means having healthy amounts of soluble and insoluble fiber in your diet. Eating healthy fats that come from plants sources like nuts and vegetables activates a normal fat burning metabolism.
Eating plenty of raw foods accomplishes both of these goals and you will also be increasing your enzyme and mineral intake. Add to this healthy amounts of water in your diet and your almost home.
Clinical studies prove that soluble and insoluble fibers slow down the digestive process enough to increase nutrient absorption while increasing excretion of bile acids so they do not become stagnant in your gall bladder. This also lowers the levels of fat, blood sugar and cholesterol in your blood. Is this starting to make sense now?
Healthy fiber in your diet is literally a natural preventative of several things like colorectal cancer, coronary heart disease, diverticular disease, diabetes and gall stones. Water soluble fibers also carry hydration through the body and help with hypertension as well . . .
The binding of bile acids with dietary fiber is well documented, the longer they are bound in fiber the better they are able to breakdown fats and release the fat soluble vitamins within them.
An increased fecal excretion of bile acids leads to the increased breakdown of cholesterol in the liver, which lowers serum cholesterol levels . . . you have to get the bile acids out of your colon and eating fruits, vegetables and grains like oat bran are made to do it.
In fact there is a connection between secondary bile acids in the colon and colorectal cancer. Basically gall stones and gall bladder dysfunction is a simple and reversible bile elimination disorder.
Bottom line gallstones are preventable, and in most cases reversible, without drugs or surgery! I know this was a lot of info to take in, but there’s more to it than first meets the eye.
I hope I have at least encouraged you to look into natural alternative medicine a little deeper. The truth is your body is a miraculous rejuvenating healing miracle . . . it just needs a little faith placed in the right direction at the right time.
Live well,
